Location is just perfect and really easy to drop and collect. Don’t know what more they can do to make it easier. Thanks again.

Storing three suitcases securely whilst we took a short three day trip to Scotland was very easy and convenient. The hotel was a short, quick walking distance of the train station and the service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

We stored at the hub Premier Inn in Edinburgh and they knew exactly what to do, no delays and friendly service.  Pick up was simple and we were actually taken to where the bags are stored so we could easily identify our bags for staff.  They double checked tags and stub to ensure we were taking correct bags.  The storage space was neat and tidy and bags organized well.

The Stasher unit was literally a couple of minutes from Paddington Station. It's a small currency exchange, which was obviously popular for storing luggage as there were several larger suitcases chained together and several smaller cases behind the counter. I had to show my confirmation email, and was given a numbered ticket that I had to take a photo of my suitcase with to show upon my return. The staff were friendly and seemed to clearly know the system they were suppose to follow. I returned later that afternoon and very easily retrieved my suitcase, intact and clearly not opened. (We had rigged the zip to be able to see if anyone had tried to open it). I would happily use the Stasher App again, and indeed this storage facility too. It made our day around London much more comfortable without having to drag a suitcase around with us.

Luggage storage at Hamm station and museum

Checking out of a holiday rental in Hamm hours before your train leaves can mean hauling bags through the day. We'll find you somewhere nearby to drop them while you explore.

Hamm station is a major regional rail hub, but the station itself has no left-luggage desk, so you need another plan for your bags before you head out. The city's main draws are the Maximilianpark, the Maximare thermal spa and the Gustav-Lübcke-Museum, and none of these are covered by dedicated on-site storage either, which makes advance planning essential. The museum's cloakroom is on the lower level, so you can leave coats and small bags there while you visit. The city centre is about an 800-metre walk from Hamm station, so a bag drop facility near the station keeps the walk easy. With Stasher, you can store bags from €4.97 per bag per day at over 10 locations across Hamm.

Some top Stasher locations in Hamm include:

You'll typically find bag drop facilities at self-service lockers. Every booking comes with the Stasher Guarantee, which protects your bags up to €12,000. Stasher storage in Hamm can be booked through the website or app.

Getting to and from Hamm with bags

Hamm sits in the north-eastern Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia, which makes it a useful base for regional travel. The closest airport is Dortmund Airport, roughly 30 minutes away, so arriving with bags means a short onward leg into the city. Sorting out where to leave your bags before you reach Hamm is advisable, since the station doesn't offer an official left-luggage desk.

Exploring Hamm after you store

Once your bags are sorted, the Maximilianpark with its glass elephant, the Maximare thermal spa and the Gustav-Lübcke-Museum are the main draws for visitors. Hamm is also a significant rail hub and has three ports along the Datteln-Hamm Canal, so it's a working transport city rather than just a tourist stop.
