I was lucky that they were conveniently just next door to the AirBnB I checked out of. The shop manager was friendly, and I felt safe leaving my bags with him. I returned 7 hours later to pick up my bags. Very quick and easy, no fuss at all.

It was very easy to drop the bags close to Estacion Sants. Just a suggestion: the booking should be confirmed with a code on the app or similar after dropping the bags. You may loose the piece of paper given for claiming the bags. ;)

Luggage storage in Sliema
Checking out of a Sliema rental early or facing a long wait before a late departure leaves you carrying bags through the seafront streets. Stasher's nearby spots let you drop them and actually enjoy those last hours.
The main transport hubs, like the seafront bus stops and the airport bus link, are simply ways to move luggage through town rather than places to leave it, so storage must be arranged before you arrive. Sliema sits on the north-east coast of Malta within the Northern Harbour District. It is one of Malta’s main coastal resorts and a major residential and commercial centre. Its role as a tourism hub makes shopping, dining, and café life part of your luggage-drop planning. The Sliema Front is a popular walking, jogging, and leisure route. With Stasher, you can store bags from €1.49 per bag per day.
Some top Stasher locations in sliema include:
- Local shop, 1 min walk from The Point Shopping Mall
- Local shop, 4 min walk from Balluta Bay · rated 5/5 (40+ reviews)
Stasher hosts include local shops. Every booking comes with the Stasher Guarantee, which protects your bags up to €12,000. Stasher storage in sliema can be booked through the website or app.

Getting around Sliema with bags
Sliema Ferries is the main hub for the Valletta ferry and local buses, so it's where most routes through town begin. Tower Road runs along the seafront towards St Julian's and has bus stops at Torri and Chalet, useful if you're staying along the promenade. Malta Public Transport can refuse or restrict luggage on its buses for safety reasons, so keep bags compact and be ready to wait for a quieter service.
Arriving from the airport with luggage
The Airport Direct TD3 bus runs from Malta International Airport to Sliema every 30 minutes, taking roughly 34 to 43 minutes depending on your stop. A one-way fare costs €3.00 per passenger, which is a straightforward way to reach town with a suitcase. If you're planning to visit St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta, note that it doesn't allow large wheeled luggage inside, so arrange storage for your bags before heading there.
