Super helpful, great location for exploring London/the theatres
- Louise
The location was ideal from where I stayed. The only problems I had was that my back pack was just left behind the shop door. It wasn’t locked away anywhere, the front window of the shop was smashed in and it just felt unsafe when I realised it was loose behind a door and not locked away somewhere.

Friendly service but storage room in the basemente and the stairs down as well are filthy and full of rubbish.. Not suitable if you have trouble carrying your suitcase down a long stairway.

Puebla and its luggage storage landscape
Puebla isn't a place with a single obvious bag-drop spot, so it helps to know which parts of the city are easier to navigate with luggage than others.
The city, officially Heroica Puebla de Zaragoza and the fourth-largest in Mexico, is a major tourist and industrial centre whose UNESCO-listed historic centre draws most visitors. The Central de Autobuses CAPU links Puebla by road with 30 federal entities and Central America, and it's the main transport hub travellers pass through with bags. Puebla's UNESCO-listed historic centre is known for baroque landmarks such as the Cathedral of Puebla and the Capilla del Rosario. The city is a major industrial centre with a significant manufacturing sector, including automotive plants like Volkswagen. With Stasher, you can store bags from US$1.49 per bag per day.

Arriving in Puebla with bags
CAPU, the primary bus station at Boulevard Norte No. 4222, is where most long-distance arrivals land. Estrella Roja runs direct buses from CAPU to Puebla International Airport and also connects Puebla with Mexico City International Airport (AICM) T1 and T2, Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles (AIFA) and Huejotzingo. The airport itself sits 72 km from the historic centre, far enough that sorting out luggage before heading into the city is worthwhile. On Puebla's RUTA transit system, anything over 90 centimetres in any dimension or too bulky for the turnstiles won't be allowed on board.
Bag rules at Puebla's attractions
Museo Amparo requires all backpacks, bags and packages of any size to be left in its cloakroom, so budget a few minutes for that before entering. If you'd rather not leave your bag there, Stasher shops and offices in the area offer an alternative.
Auditorio Puebla is stricter still: no backpacks or handbags larger than 30 by 30 cm get through the door. Estadio Cuauhtémoc has no cloakroom at all and only admits transparent handbags or backpacks, which makes any non-transparent bag a problem on match days.
Museo Nacional de las Intervenciones offers a free baggage check at the ticket office for larger items like bags or backpacks over 40 by 40 by 10 cm, so you can leave bulky things there rather than carry them through the galleries.
