Simple, straightforward checking-in and out, helpful staff at point of contact, quick procedure with no delays or queueing. Very handy location for train station.

Highly recommended — very nice friendly people who looked after our luggage perfectly for the day — it's a co-living & co-working place, which may be of interest to some people too, located in a quieter area just north of busy Hongdae

As I stated above, Posada de Vallina did great. Helpful ppl at Reception to do the Stasher process, and exc location next to the Mezquita. Relieved the stress in trying to get a locker at the Cordiba bus station.

Owner of the nice shop, right in front of the train station, so very easy to access. Reliable because I had no issues and I had the opportunity to tour Rome without having to carry my backpack.

Marrakesh sits at the foot of the High Atlas in southern Morocco, one of the country's four imperial cities and a stop for travellers moving between coast, mountains and desert. The Medina's UNESCO-listed monuments draw most visitors, but the main railway station has no advertised left-luggage or locker service, so you need to plan ahead for your bags.

Gare de Marrakech is the southern terminus for intercity trains to Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Meknes and Fes. With Stasher, you can store bags from US$1.49 per bag per day.

Luggage storage at the station and getting around

Marrakesh railway station in Gueliz does not advertise an official public left-luggage or automatic-locker service, so arriving by train means sorting your bag before exploring. Supratours buses leave from an adjacent terminal for Agadir, Essaouira and Ouarzazate, useful if you are connecting onward without much time to spare. Public transport operators serving Marrakesh must load and unload luggage exclusively at the designated bus station in Azouzia, so baggage handling there is restricted to that terminal. Menara Airport is 4 to 6 kilometres from the centre, typically 15 to 20 minutes by car, with Terminal 1 handling most international flights and Terminal 2 serving domestic and some low-cost routes. The railway station itself is a 10- to 20-minute walk from many hotels in Gueliz, which makes dropping a bag at Stasher storage across Marrakesh practical before heading into the Medina.

Visiting sights with bags

At the Museum of Moroccan Elegance, large bags, umbrellas and other bulky items must be left in designated areas at the museum entrance, so travel light if you plan to visit. Jardin Majorelle may ask you to leave large bags at the entrance and does not guarantee suitcase storage, meaning you should not carry a bag there.

Stasher offers luggage storage across Marrakesh, letting you leave bags before visiting either sight.

Booking Stasher in Marrakesh

Stasher bookings around Marrakesh are busiest on Friday and Sunday and in March and November, so booking ahead at those times is a good idea. Most drop-offs are booked for between 10:00 and 13:00, so allow a little extra time if you arrive then.
