Not secure, anyone could walk into the room off the street. It's also up a very steep and narrow flight of stairs - not suitable for a heavy suitcase. The man was polite and the phone shop was a very short walk from AMS Centraal Station.

Good place to leave something for a brief period and very close to Centraal Station, but I wouldn't want to leave anything there all day. I'm not convinced it's carefully watched all the time, as the owner splits his time between that shop and the shop next door, which seems to be part of the same business.
