Luggage storage at the station and airport

Getting to and from the airport

The Værnesekspressen bus is the fastest public transport link between the city centre and the airport, taking 30 minutes. Trondheim Airport Værnes station gives the terminal direct rail access, with trains continuing towards Bodø, Steinkjer and Trondheim S. Trondheim S itself is the main rail hub, with intercity and regional services to Oslo, Bodø, Røros and Östersund in Sweden.

Nidaros Cathedral does not allow large bags, backpacks or suitcases inside, and directs visitors to their hotel or the station's left-luggage lockers instead.
