The location of Premier Inn in St.Heliers was very central, also only 5 mins walk from main bus station and #22 bus at stop "N" takes you to airport in 20 minutes for less than £3 (cheaper if you pay with card instead of cash on bus - little tip :-) While the bag was safely stored, we went to visit Elizabeth Castle which was a great place to spend the afternoon.

ATN hotel personnel were helpful. They told us how important it was to confirm multiple day storage with the hotel to be sure they had room. Also, they were helpful getting a taxi to pick us up once we got our luggage.

It worked very well for me. Close to Waterloo station and reasonably priced. My only slight criticism is that, while I was given a ticket as a receipt, it wasn't numbered in a way which identified my luggage - as normally happens in museums, restaurants etc - and so the staff had to ask me which was mine. I didn't think this was the most secure method.
