I used stasher a few times in the last month, but this time it was very strange experience. I left my bags and collected them in the evening without any damage/issue, so I cannot complain, storage job was done. But still- When I arrived, the guy behind the counter did not understand me when I said "Stasher", only when I showed him the booking confirmation, he understood what I wanted. Then he placed my bags behind the counter between his legs, not in a storage room as I expected. He also did not check my reservation on his system at all, so I was not feeling comfortable to leave my bags. Later in the evening when we arrived to collect them at 18:40, everything when fine without any issues, but a minute after we left, he closed the shop behind us, while it was supposed to be open until 20:00 (collection until 19:00). I really afraid to think what would happen if we arrived at 18:45. He probably would wait till 19:00 for us, but I don't know that for sure, and I just don't want even think about it, it was a shock for me.

Luggage storage at the Arena di Verona
The Arena di Verona sits in Piazza Bra at the heart of the historic centre, drawing crowds year-round for concerts and the summer opera festival that fills its Roman stone bowl. For many visitors, the first hurdle is at the gate: anything over 17 litres, including suitcases, large bags and backpacks, won't get in, and the Arena runs no cloakroom or storage service of its own.
Buses 11, 12, 13, 51 and 52 all stop right outside in Piazza Bra, so getting here is easy even with luggage in tow. With Stasher, you can store bags from €1.49 a day per bag.

Arriving with luggage: from Porta Nuova to Piazza Bra
Most travellers reach the Arena via Verona Porta Nuova, the city's main station, which connects to the centre by frequent urban bus routes.
A bus ride from Porta Nuova to the Arena stop takes around five minutes on lines 11, 12 or 13, and a single ticket costs €1.50 for 90 minutes of travel.
Before you enter: bag rules and security
Security at the entrance may include walkthrough or handheld metal detectors plus visual inspections, so give yourself extra time, especially before an evening performance. Beyond the ban on bulky bags, you can't bring your own food or drink inside, though food and beverage counters operate within the Arena itself. Guided tours in multiple languages run up to an hour and a half, a useful option if you're seeing the monument outside performance hours. Piazza Bra, the square directly outside, is where buses drop off and where anything you're not allowed to carry in will need to have been left behind already.
