I stumbled across Stasher while looking for a locker to store my suitcase in Brighton while I waited for my train ... it was easy no navigate the website and was given a choice of locations to ‘stash’ my case. (I chose Premier Inn which was faultless) the only small niggle is the cost - one bag was £6 two for £12 etc ... I would’ve stashed more if there had been a discount on second bag .... but would use again

Storage and bag rules at Brighton Pier

Brighton Pier sits at the heart of the seafront, where a walk with luggage quickly turns into a juggling act. We'll help you find somewhere nearby to leave it while you enjoy the pier.

Brighton Station has no left-luggage facility of its own, so the walk to the pier or the short bus ride from the station means carrying whatever you arrived with. The seafront itself is the draw once bags are out of your hands, with the beach free and open all year and SEA LIFE Brighton a short walk from the station. The pier sits opposite the Old Steine, making it easy to find from the city centre. The pier combines fairground rides, arcades, seaside dining, and views of the English Channel. SEA LIFE Brighton does not permit luggage or large bags inside and has no cloakroom or lockers. Opening hours at the pier vary daily and can change with the weather. With Stasher, you can store bags from £1.49 per bag per day at 10+ locations near Brighton Pier.

Getting to the pier with luggage

Brighton Station is about a 20-minute walk from the pier, which is manageable with a small bag but less fun with a suitcase on a busy seafront day. Buses 14 and 27 run from the station to stops directly opposite the pier, and the fare to the North Street/Old Steine/Sea Life Centre is £1.70. Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express all serve the station, so arrivals come from London and across the south coast.

Exploring the seafront after storing bags

Brighton Beach is free and open all year round, with its pebbly shoreline, the pier and the nightlife under the Victorian arches all within easy reach. SEA LIFE Brighton, the world's oldest continuously operating aquarium with over 5,000 marine creatures, sits about a 20-minute walk from the station. The pier itself charges a £1 entry fee during peak periods for anyone over two, and it's step-free throughout for wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
