    Great, straightforward easy and convenient.

Great location directly opposite the station, the picture was handy to help find the shop.  As another reviewer said the reciept we got was hand written but we had no problems leaving our 5 bags or collecting them so I’m giving it a full 5 stars.

Good location if you using the buses (bit of walk if you using trains) easy to find and staff were friendly. Stored in a locked room. Asked for name at drop off and pickup and asked for the photos of the bags we took when dropped off to ensure safety. Recommended.

Really happy with the service.  We arrived later than anticipated due to flight delay on but it was no problem at all.  The guy on duty in reception on Weds 01/11/2023 daytime was very nice and really friendly.  Central location short distance to train station and shopping areas.  Would recommend leaving your luggage here.

St James Park bag rules and on-site storage

Stasher has no bag size or weight limits, so oversized luggage can be stored externally when it cannot enter St James’ Park. The stadium prohibits bags larger than A4 size, and luggage cannot be brought into the venue. St James’ Park also provides no luggage-storage facilities on site. That makes external luggage storage in St James Park necessary for bags that exceed the entry limit, rather than relying on a stadium storage desk. Smaller bags do not change the rule for anything larger than A4. Stasher addresses the size restriction with storage outside the stadium, not inside it.

Getting around St James Park

St James’ Park stadium stands at the junction of Gallowgate, St James’ Boulevard and Barrack Road. St James Metro station is directly adjacent to the ground, providing the immediate rail access point rather than a distant stop. It is the terminus of the Tyne and Wear Metro Yellow Line, so journeys on that line end at the stadium-side station. Stadium tours last 90 minutes and depart from the Stadium Tours Reception in the Milburn Stand, giving a fixed duration and named starting point for that visit.

Booking your Stasher spot and late collection

Stasher spots near St James Park can be booked online at trusted local shops, hotels or self-service smart lockers. Bags are kept safely out of sight until collection. One Stasher point near St James Park stays open late, supporting collection after an evening match or event.
