Luggage storage and bag rules at WiZink Center

If you're heading to a concert or game at WiZink Center in Madrid's Goya neighbourhood, sorting out what to do with a larger bag before you arrive will save you queuing at the door.

The WiZink Center provides an on-site cloakroom, but it's only for small things like coats, helmets, or non-folding umbrellas — not suitcases or large bags. During most events (basketball games are the exception) you can leave those smaller items there for €2 per item.

You can bring a small bag or purse inside as long as it holds no more than 25 litres. Food is allowed if it doesn't need utensils, and drinks are fine in plastic bottles up to 50 cl with the cap removed — but only if they're non-alcoholic.

Getting to the venue with your bags

Goya metro station on lines 2 and 4 is the closest stop, just a few minutes' walk from the entrance. O'Donnell on line 6 is about ten minutes away on foot, and Príncipe de Vergara on lines 2 and 9 gives you another option if you're coming from a different part of the city. If you're on a bus, the Alcalá-Goya stop drops you roughly two minutes' walk from the door. There's also public parking beneath the venue with access from Calle Goya and Calle Jorge Juan if you're driving. Doors open at different times depending on the event, so check the specific event page on the venue's website before you set off.

Nearby: Las Ventas Bullring and the Salamanca district

Las Ventas Bullring, just a short hop from the arena, draws visitors for its arena tours, museum, and bullfighting history — it's often called the Cathedral of Bullfighting. It doesn't let suitcases or hand luggage inside, and it has no public storage, lockers, or cloakroom of its own.

The surrounding Salamanca district is Madrid's upmarket shopping and dining quarter, known for the Golden Mile's luxury boutiques, elegant architecture, and Michelin-starred restaurants.
