Luggage storage at the Musée de l'Orangerie

Visiting the Musée de l'Orangerie means stepping into one of Paris's most intimate art spaces, set right inside the Jardin des Tuileries and known above all for Monet's Nymphéas.

Getting to the museum with luggage

The simplest way in is Concorde station, where metro lines 1, 8 and 12 all stop. Tuileries on line 1 also works, though you'll walk about ten minutes through the garden to reach the entrance. Bus lines 42, 45, 72, 73, 84 and 94 all serve the Concorde stop near the museum.

Nearby sights and their own bag rules

The Musée d'Orsay, another nearby sight, can be reached on RER C at the Musée d'Orsay station or metro line 12 at Solferino. Over at the Grand Palais, suitcases are refused entirely and nothing over 42x30x20 cm gets through security.

The Grand Palais is served by metro lines 1, 9, and 13 at the Champs-Élysées-Clemenceau and Franklin D. Roosevelt stations.

For shopping, Galeries Lafayette Haussmann has no general luggage lockers, though its free Hands-Free Shopping service holds in-store purchases while you browse.
