The receptionist was very attentive. Perfect location, being very close to the British Museum.

The shop looked after our bags and they were still in the same condition when we got them.
- Léa
very quick drop off point, no one was there when we came back for pickup before the musical we were going to see so we left and came back again a couple of hours later and it was all good and we got our bags back in a couple of minutes

Excellent point! Very helpful staff, friendly and welcoming. In addition to being secure (it's in a hotel), reliable and flexible (long opening hours), the extra bonus is how lovely the staff are. They also helped us with directions and local tips.

It must be one of the absolute best customer service experiences I have ever had; the two young ladies at the concierge desk were extremely friendly, polite, helpful and welcoming, very, very patient with me even though I had no idea how to use the Google app to register and pay for what I was stashing, etc.! When I asked if I could use the gents, I was even taken to where the facility was; when I finished and was going to go, the young lady (probably at about 10:50 pm) was still smiling warmly, making me feel comfortable and very welcome, even though I had only been stashing something there for a few hours. The charge for such a professional service also couldn't be more reasonable, the whole experience was absolutely FIRST CLASS!! I have already told some of my friends about this; they were very impressed and said they definitely would use the Premier Inn there if they happen to be in central London! I only hope this fantastic service will continue and such a high level of professionalism will always be the Premier Way!!

So quick and easy to get the luggage checked in and to retrieve en-route to train station (direct line to Kings Cross less than 10 minutes walk away). Staff were super friendly and efficient!
- Sarah
This location was ideal, with a quick 3-minute walk to the local tube station. Staff were very friendly and professional.

Beware! The Stashpoint itself (a newsagents shop) is perfectly OK - bags are tagged and stored out of sight at the back of the shop - but it is not located at the address given, which is an inaccessible lane at the side of King's College, closed off by locked metal gates at its southern end on Temple Place. The shop's correct address is actually 145 The Strand WC2R 1JA. It is next to Greggs, close to The Strand's junction with Lancaster Place. I wasted 15 minutes trying to find this place thanks to the incorrect information given!

App was great. Had to change the date and the online chat was great. Had to cancel and get an email refund code which seems odd but worked great. Highly recommend Stasher.
- Antonio
Excellent service. Quick and secure! My luggage was labelled and taken to another room. When you collect it, just show the label they give you on delivery and they’ll hand over your luggage.

Are there luggage lockers at Covent Garden?
The open-air Piazza has no bag-size limit or screening, but there are no official lockers or left-luggage facilities inside Covent Garden Market or Covent Garden Underground station.
Venue rules can be tighter. Bags taken into the Royal Opera House auditorium must be no larger than A3, about 42 cm by 29.7 cm. The London Transport Museum has a free cloakroom for visitors’ large bags and backpacks, open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Adult entry costs £24 and includes unlimited visits for one year, while children aged 17 and under go free.
For paid local storage, London Left Luggage on Shelton Street has large suitcase lockers for £10 per day and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Charing Cross Station charges £15 for bags stored from 3 to 24 hours and opens daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
Planning your visit: Transit, hours, and late collection
Covent Garden Underground, on the Piccadilly line, is a one-minute walk from the entrance. Leicester Square, served by the Northern and Piccadilly lines, is five minutes away on foot.
Most general retail shops open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Browsing the Piazza and markets takes around 2 to 4 hours, while 10+ luggage storage points near the Covent Garden entrance stay open late and several operate 24/7.
What is on at Covent Garden: September events
Beyond Beauty Festival runs at Covent Garden from 4 to 13 September 2026, with free access. The Piazza may be harder to move through with suitcases during the festival, so arranging somewhere to store your bags outside Covent Garden can make the visit simpler.
The free A Century of Becoming public installation also remains on display until mid-September 2026, adding another reason to expect activity around the area.
