I used this Premier Inn as the staff here are incredibly helpful. Simple drop off, no faff, no dumb questions, absolutely brilliant.

The YHA Hostel was very conveniently located near St. Paul's and the nearby restaurants. The front desk personnel were pleasant to deal with, flexible in making last-minute changes, and kept our bags behind the front desk, behind a securely locked door. They were even helpful in booking us a cab to our hotel. Thanks for making us feel so well taken care of!

Very central. Located conveniently on the south bank of the Thames. Once you go under the Premier Inn banner, the building entrance is around a u-bend, off to one side, so not immediately obvious but findable enough.

Excellent & secured location, they sealed our bags and gave us baggage tags. We had the breakfast at their restaurant, it was very good.

Everything was perfect. The shop assistant was very friendly. The only problem was that it was quite difficult for us to find the place.

Tate Modern bag policy and official lockers

Bags over 55cm x 40cm x 20cm are not permitted inside Tate Modern, so larger suitcases need somewhere else before entering the building. The gallery’s official lockers open from 10:00 to 18:00 Sunday to Thursday, with later hours until 21:00 on Friday and Saturday.

For bags that exceed the gallery limit, Stasher accepts luggage of any size or weight.

Storage for exploring the Southbank and Shakespeare's Globe

Shakespeare’s Globe has a £2.50-per-item cloakroom, but it does not take or store luggage. For bags, Stasher has several locations near Tate Modern that stay open late, fitting an evening on the Southbank.

Secure online booking is available with trusted local shops or hotels, or through self-service smart lockers. Bags are kept safely out of sight until collection.
