V&A bag policy and official cloakroom rules
At V&A South Kensington, bags larger than 56 × 45 × 21 cm are strictly prohibited in the galleries. The official cloakroom charges £5 per item for a cabin bag up to that size, while larger bags, folding bikes and adult scooters cost £7 per item.
Cloakrooms open daily from 10:00 to 17:30, with Friday hours extended until 21:30. Free lockers are available at V&A East Museum, V&A East Storehouse and Young V&A.
